Slow Joe Questions Our Patriotism

Biden calls paying higher taxes a patriotic act- AP Headline 9-18-2008
To paraphrase the great 20th century philosopher Ronald Wayne Van Zant, "Well, I hope Slow Joe will remember, the taxpayin' man don't need him around anyhow."
The Obama-Biden team likes to pretend that raising taxes on "the other" will result in prosperity for the rest of America. The fact that things never actually happen that way doesn't disuade them, of course. Same old class warfare playbook from the Dems. But, for all those devout followers of The Barack of Obama and his comic relief running mate, let me just say that the federal government allows you to show your patriotism. If you believe that Biden is right and paying higher taxes is patriotic, note the following:
From the U.S. Treasury http://fms.treas.gov/faq/moretopics_gifts.html Web site:
Citizens who wish to make a general donation to the U.S. government may send contributions to a specific account called "Gifts to the United States." This account was established in 1843 to accept gifts, such as bequests, from individuals wishing to express their patriotism to the United States. Money deposited into this account is for general use by the federal government and can be available for budget needs. These contributions are considered an unconditional gift to the government.
Financial gifts can be made by check or money order payable to the United States Treasury and mailed to the address below.

What? You meant raising MY TAXES is patriotic? Oh. Go pound sand, pal.
